CAF Confederation Cup: Egypt’s Al Masry Beat Enyimba FC 2-0

Egypt’s Al Masry defeated Nigeria’s Enyimba FC 2-0 in their CAF Confederation Cup Group D match in Ismaila on Wednesday evening.

Mahmoud Hamada scored the first goal for Al Masry just five minutes into the match. He then added another goal 14 minutes before the end, sealing the victory for his team.

Enyimba struggled to break down the home team’s defence and rarely threatened the goal. Goalkeeper Ani Ozoemena made several important saves to prevent a bigger defeat.

Enyimba’s next match will be at home against the defending champions, Zamalek, on Sunday, December 8.
