The head of DMW recently dropped a new track called Awuke with YG Marley and mentioned that his upcoming album will highlight African sounds.
Davido, who has also worked with American rapper Nicki Minaj, discussed his new song Funds, featuring rapper Odumodu Blvck and Chike.
During an appearance on The Baller Alert show, he referred to Odumodu as Nigeria’s top rapper and likened Chike to US artist Bryson Tiller.
“My next album drops early next year, but i have a new record dropping about couple of days with Odumodu Blvck and Chike dubbed Funds,” Davido said.

Davido’s fifth album is released more than a year after his last album, Timeless, which came out under Davido Music Worldwide, Columbia Records, and Sony Music Entertainment.
