Akwa United FC climb out of danger zone with victory over Heartland FC

Akwa United FC defeated Heartland FC 2-0 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo to climb out of the Nigeria Premier Football League danger zone.

The game, a 2024/2025 NPFL matchday 18 clash took place on Monday, December 23, and saw Akwa United desperately seeking victory to end the first stanza of the season outside the relegation zone.
