Sunshine Stars FC of Akure has named a replacement for coach Kennedy Boboye who resigned from his post as Technical Adviser of the team last week, Sports247 reports.

The club confirmed that coach Abubakar Bala has been named as the new head coach as the new gaffer will now take from where Kennedy Boboye stopped.
Coach Bala was contacted in time and he is expected to arrive in Aba today where Sunshine Stars will face Enyimba FC in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier League, NPfL rescheduled match.
Sunshine Stars have been struggling to hit their stride in the league, they only managed to win five out of the 15 matches, with just 17 points on the 17 position on the log.
Kennedy Boboye resigned after the team lost at home against Shooting Stars in Ijebu last weekend as Coach Bala Abubakar is expected to hit the road running with the Enyimba game in Aba this evening.
