Ogun Governor Abidoun Appoints Chief of Staff

The governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun on Thursday, December 26, announced the appointment of a new chief of staff, Oluwatoyin Taiwo.

In a statement issued by his special adviser on media, Kayode Akinmade, the governor made the appointment in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital city.

According to Akinmade, the new chief of staff, prior to his appointment was the deputy chief of staff to the governor.

The statement said, “The governor, while congratulating the new Chief of Staff, described the appointment as well-deserved.

”Taiwo served as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism during the first term of Gov. Abiodun and was subsequently elevated to the position of Deputy Chief of Staff before his new role.

”He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he obtained a B.Sc. in Statistics before pursuing further degrees up to Ph.D,” the statement added.
