Oshiomhole distributes 11,000 bags of rice to Edo North residents for Christmas

Senator Adams Oshiomhole (APC-Edo-North) has provided 11,000 bags of rice to residents of his senatorial district as part of Christmas celebrations and palliative measures.

The rice, in 10kg, 25kg, and 50kg bags, was distributed across the six local government areas in Edo-North Senatorial District.

Addressing recipients during the distribution on Wednesday, Oshiomhole emphasized the inclusivity of the gesture, urging that the rice should benefit not only party members but also community groups such as mechanics, tailors, and vigilantes.

“This rice is not for party members alone; mechanics, tailors, vigilante groups should also benefit from this kind gesture,” Oshiomhole said.

“I will never take your support for granted and will continue to provide leadership for a better Afemai land,” he added.

Acknowledging the current economic challenges, the former Edo State governor encouraged Nigerians to remain patient and hopeful, expressing confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration’s ability to improve the nation’s fortunes.

“I am aware that things are tough, especially at the grassroots level. But continue to have faith in the APC-led Federal Government. Nigeria will be great again,” he said.

Oshiomhole also called for peace and love among Nigerians during the festive season, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
