Anambra 2025: My administration will align with Tinubu’s vision, former AMAC chairman declares guber ambition

Nicholas Ukachukwu, a former chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council popularly know as Ikukuoma, has announced his plan to join the November 8, 2025, gubernatorial election in Anambra State.

Ukachukwu also declared that he intends to contest the election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking at his hometown in Osumenyi country home in Nnewi South Local Government Area, Ukachukwu who was officially received by the ward chairman, Ikechukwu Onyeka said he is contesting to sustain the tempo of good governance in Anambra State.

According to Ukachukwu, President Bola Tinubu has initiated the tenets of good governance at the national level and this should be replicated in all states.

 

“I am running for the governorship election to sustain the tempo of good governance that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has initiated in Nigeria

I am contesting to make Anambra a better place for all Nigerians. I have been in politics since 1999, so I have what it takes to govern Anambra State,” Ukachukwu said.

He also stated that he is ready to liberate the people of Anambra state from all the challenges being faced across the state under the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

He said, “I will run Anambra like a business. Four years is enough for me to make an unforgettable mark in the state and beyond.

“My administration will align with President Tinubu’s vision of inclusiveness, where everyone residing in Anambra, irrespective of political affiliation, tribe, ethnicity, or region, will participate in my government. I will ensure Anambra is part of national discourse,” Ukachukwu added.
