JUST IN: Governor Adeleke signs N427 billion 2025 budget

Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State has signed the state’s 2025 budget into law.

The N427 billion appropriations bill themed, ‘Budget of Growth and Sustainable Development’,  was signed at the Exco Lounge, Governor’s Office.

Signed before the state governor’s cabinet members and members of the legislature, the bill was signed after N37 billion was added to the initial N390 billion bill proposed by Adeleke.

Speaking at the signing process, the Osun State governor said, “Consequently, I direct Ministries, Agencies, and Departments to vigorously pursue the implementation for the benefit of the citizens of the state.

“Our budget performance must continue to be commendable on a quarterly basis,” the governor said.

He further directed the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget, and Development to ensure the complete implementation of the bill in the coming fiscal year.
