JUST IN: Tinubu appoints aviation expert as Rector of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology Rector

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.

Dr. Ismaila is an expert in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security. He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, with a degree in Physics in 1989 and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation.

Over the years, he has attended numerous civil aviation management and transportation courses, workshops, and seminars.

A member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society, Dr Ismaila was previously a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, before his appointment.

The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), on February 19, 2025.
