Abia inspector sacked as Police give details of dismissal

A police inspector, Kufere Moses has been dismissed by the Nigeria Police Force for gross misconduct.

Moses, who was formerly serving at the Mopol 55 PMF Aba was attached to the United Bank of Africa Guard in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State, before his dismissal.

The spokesperson for the Abia Police Command, Maureen Chinaka said Moses’ suspension will take effect from February 21.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, March 19, Chinaka noted that Moses was de-kitted following disciplinary measures meted against him.

She said that all police accoutrement have also been recovered from the dismissed inspector following recommendations by the disciplinary panel.

Quoting the Abia State Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa, the statement said, “Under my leadership, the command remains committed to the Inspector General of Police’s vision of ensuring a professionally competent, service-driven, rule-of-law-compliant and people-friendly police force.”
