BREAKING: Fubara to Re-Present 2025 Rivers Budget to Amaewhule-Led Assembly

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara is set to re-present the 2025 budget to the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The budget will be laid before the Assembly faction led by Speaker Martin Amaewhule this morning.

This decision follows a recent Supreme Court ruling, which ordered the suspension of Rivers State’s federal allocations until the budget is properly presented and approved by the Assembly.

Recall that in a meeting with leaders of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) on Tuesday in the presidential villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu advised Governor Siminalayi Fubara to implement the recommendations given to him and respect the rule of law.

He also called on Niger Delta leaders to support him in achieving this goal.

Also, while inaugurating new Judges’ Quarters in the state, Fubara vowed to implement to the full, the judgement of the apex court.
