D’Tigers retain 42nd spot in latest FIBA rankings

Nigeria’s D’Tigers have stayed in 42nd place in the latest FIBA rankings after a strong performance in the second window of the 2025 Afrobasket Championship qualifiers.

Following a difficult start in the first window, the team made a strong comeback, winning all their games and securing a spot in the tournament.

In the FIBA rankings released on Friday, D’Tigers remain 42nd in the world and 6th in Africa.

South Sudan continues to top the African rankings, followed by Ivory Coast.
