The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has issued a stern warning to club media officers, emphasizing the mandatory nature of post-match conferences.
In an official letter to club chairmen, the NPFL expressed concern over the failure of some media officers to fulfill this requirement, which deprives the league of essential media content.

The league reminded clubs that during the pre-season workshop, media officers were trained on their responsibilities, including the obligation to organize post-match conferences featuring team managers, captains, or players requested by the media.
Moving forward, all home clubs must ensure these conferences take place in an organized and conducive setting, preferably within designated NPFL media rooms, as required by club licensing regulations.
Failure to comply will result in appropriate sanctions against defaulting club media officers.
