BREAKING: PDP Candidate for 2025 Anambra Race Emerges

Chief Jude Ezenwafor has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the November 8, 2025 Anambra State governorship election.

Ezenwafor, an Abuja-based real estate developer got the party’s ticket unopposed during the PDP primary held Tuesday at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre in Awka.

He was declared winner by the chairman of the PDP primary election committee, Col. Chijioke Onwubuya (rtd), following the conclusion of voting by accredited delegates.

A total of 853 delegates, including 839 from the 21 local government areas and 14 national delegates, participated in the exercise. Though unchallenged, delegates were each issued ballot papers to affirm their support by writing Ezenwafor’s name, with voting conducted in batches according to local government areas.
