JUST IN: Tinubu’s political adviser resigns, gives reason

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the political adviser to President Bola Tinubu has resigned from his appointment.

A former spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum, Baba-Ahmed was said to have submitted his resignation about two weeks ago.

It was gathered that Baba-Ahmed cited personal grounds as his main reason for resigning his position.

Sources within the presidency said it was not yet clear whether the president has accepted his resignation.

The former NEF spokesperson was appointed as a political adviser to the president in September 2023.
