NNL Lifts Ban on Barau FC Supporters at Dambatta Stadium

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has officially lifted the suspension barring Barau FC supporters from attending home games at the Dambatta Stadium.

The decision was conveyed in a letter signed by the league’s Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana. In the letter, Alanana called on the Kano State Football Association to ensure adequate security measures are in place during and after NNL fixtures at the venue.

Additionally, Barau FC has been directed to submit a written undertaking, pledging to maintain a peaceful atmosphere and prevent any future incidents during home matches.

The stadium had previously been closed to fans following crowd disturbances during a match against Gombe United.

Barau FC is set to host Wikki Tourists at the Dambatta Stadium today (Sunday).
