“APC has lost Buhari’s values” – Ex-President’s aide laments

Former presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie, has criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the party has abandoned the values of fairness, equity, justice, and equality it once embodied under former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a post on social media, Onochie described the APC as “a private enterprise”, alleging that party members engage in misconduct without consequence.

“APC senators assault airport staff, hijack planes and then are rewarded as ambassadors. Iniquities are sprayed with roses and perfumes—unless you belong to the opposition,” she wrote.

Onochie said the APC can no longer be considered the party Buhari led, but thanked the former president for showing that “righteousness is possible among Nigerians and in Nigeria”.

“We will not allow them to take us back to our inglorious past. Never,” she added.
