“Nobody Needs 40 Perfumes” – Solomon Buchi Warns Against Materialism

Social media commentator, Solomon Buchi, has sparked conversation online after declaring that no man should be pressured to tolerate a woman’s toxic behaviour.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 27, Buchi addressed women who often boast about wanting a man who can “handle their stubbornness.” He argued that relationships should not be built on endurance of toxicity, stressing that love requires mutual respect and healthy conduct from both partners.

“I want a mature man that can handle me because I’m very stubborn”. If you’re a wild animal, go to the zoo. No man should be ‘handling’ your stubbornness. Work on your toxicity or pack into the zoo. That’s where they tame animals, I guess,” he wrote.

His statement has since generated discussions on social media, with many users sharing differing opinions on the subject.

In other news…. A Nigerian man, Chinedu Victor Ogba, has remembered his father, Sunday Okechukwu Ogba, and two siblings, Chigozirim (17) and Eberechi (14), who d!ed alongside four extended family members after eating suya on August 25, 2021, in Umueze Umuakanu, Umuahia North, Abia State.

The deceased persons started vomiting after eating the roasted meat delicacy and d!ed shortly after.

Marking their fourth anniversary, Chinedu wrote on Facebook:

“Today marks four years since I lost my beloved dad and my dear siblings in an unexpected tragedy that changed my life forever. Not a day passes without thoughts of you all. I choose today to honor your lives, the love you gave, the laughter we shared, and the bond we will always carry. Rest on, Dad. Rest on, my dear siblings. Your memories remain my treasure, and I will continue to live in a way that makes you proud.”

The tragedy left Mrs. Jessy Chinonyerem Ogba and her daughter Ijeoma Blessing as the only survivors after being hospitalized.
