JUST IN: APC Governor Declares Tuesday Public Holiday, Gives Reason

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has declared Tuesday, September 23, 2025, a public holiday in commemoration of the state’s 38th anniversary.

In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Umanah, the governor directed that all government offices and public institutions in the state observe the work-free day.

Governor Eno, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), extended warm wishes to citizens and residents, urging them to celebrate the anniversary joyfully and peacefully.
