Wolverhampton Wanderers of England striker, Tolu Arokodare has come out with a verdict that he and his teammates were simply unluckily to lose 2-0 at home against Crystal Palace on Saturday in the English Premier League.
Sports247 reports that Wolves fought hard for the better part of the game, but still lost what was the first match of their new coach, Rob Edwards, and Arokodare suggested that his side was unfortunate not to carry the day.

The towering Super Eagles’ striker added that everyone in the Wolves’ squad had the right spirit before and during the game at Molineux Stadium, hence his verdict that they did not deserve to be beaten at home.
The former top scorer at RKC Genk of Belgium reflected on the training routine which the new coach has introduced at the club and reckoned that good results should start turning in with the great job he and everyone is doing in the team.
Arokodare posited, “We showed a lot of energy, a lot of fighting spirit, and that’s what we focused on from the start of the week. The trainings were very intensive, and we had good spirits. We came to this game with good spirits.”
The dark-skinned striker concluded with a verdict that the result turned out to be the difference between a lucky side and an unfortunate one, considering that his team gave the very best that they could but still ended up losing at home.
“I don’t think it really went wrong anywhere until the goal. You cannot say it was bad defending or anything, we were just unlucky with the deflection. Luckily for them, they had a player to put it in the back of the net.
“But I thought we did pretty good the whole game, from the start to the end. Even after going two goals down, we still tried to play our football, but we didn’t get the result,” Arokodare reasoned.
Sports247 reports further that Arokodare started the game but got a 50th minute yellow card and was replaced in the 66th, as Wolves continue hunting for their first win of the season and remain bottom of the table.
