Members of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Governor Forum were in Oyo State to pay a condolence visit to their colleague, Seyi Makinde in respect to the death of his brother, Sunday Makinde.
The governor led by Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, visit Makinde at his resident in Agodi GRA on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Mohammed while expressing the Forum’s sympathy described the late Makinde as a man who lived a life full of a glorious career and family.
Having served in the Nigerian Navy, Mohammed described the late Makinde as having a successful retirement after his military career.
He also commended Governor Makinde for his leadership prowess which he said that despite his loss, he has shown resilience in this difficult time.
Some governors who were members of the PDP Governors’ Forum delegation include the governor of Rivers State and the vice chairman of the forum, Siminalayi Fubara.
