A video shared on Instagram has captured the mother of Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, addressing the claims her daughter made during and after the show about her childhood.
In the video, the mother expressed her shock over Imisi’s statement that she was sent out of the house at age 12. She said she had no memory of such an incident and insisted it never happened.
She explained that she also contacted her own mother — Imisi’s grandmother — as well as her sister, and said both of them confirmed they had no knowledge of any situation where Imisi was allegedly thrown out.
The mother further reacted to Imisi’s claims of being r*ped while growing up. She stated that she had no idea when or how it happened and asked Imisi to publicly clarify the timeline.
She added that the statements made about her have caused people to insult and tag her as a bad mother whenever she goes out, noting that the backlash has been overwhelming.
