Akwa United Football Club has announced a series of exciting activities to mark the start of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season as they prepare to face Solution FC on Sunday, 16 November 2025, at the Uyo Township Stadium at 3pm.
The club took to social media on Friday, 14 November 2025, with brand influencer Mfon Udoh unveiling the engagement packages. Fans were also informed that there will be half-time performances by artists during the matchday one fixture.
Prizes will be awarded at all matches this season.
Supporters attending the season opener and all Akwa United home games are in for a thrilling experience, with special prizes and recognition packages, including the introduction of Man of the Match and Fan of the Match awards.
To become the Fan of the Match, supporters are encouraged to:

2️⃣ Follow Akwa United and Ibom Air on Social Media
3️⃣ Snap a photo wearing the jersey and comment under the club’s matchday trivia post.
Winners will receive exciting prizes during the game.
At home games, fans who visit the Promise Stand from 2 pm. at the Uyo Township Stadium will receive gift items and have the chance to meet Ibom Air brand influencer Mfon Udoh.
For away games, the Fan of the Match will be selected from supporters who attend the away venue and actively cheer the team.
The club also announced the introduction of Player of the Month and Fan of the Month awards to recognise outstanding performances and passionate support throughout the season.
Akwa United urged fans to come out in large numbers, wear their new jerseys, and cheer the Promise Keepers to victory as they begin their push for promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
